My client is a multi-milion dollar global Open Source company. They are expanding their technology Team in India and hiring for a Linux Developer - L3 Support to join their global team from India.

If you consider yourself a fast-learner, like varied tasks and enjoy solving interesting and tricky (but always Linux/open-source-related) technical problems, either on your own or in close cooperation with other excellent Linux engineers, then this opportunity is for you!

Exp: 2 - 5 years

Location: Bangalore / Remote / Hybrid

What you will bring

• At least 2 years of experience with with any Enterprise Linux and free Linux Distributions

• Experience with Linux debugging tools and techniques like GDB and Strace.

• Proficiency in C programming language

• Knowledge of other programming languages such as Perl, Python and Bash are also welcomed

• Familiarity with container technology and cloud native applications

• Understanding of the Linux Kernel as this role can progres into a Kernel Developer.

• Knowledge of RPM is a plus
