Our client in the Material Construction Industry is located in the Frankfurt metropolitan area. They are hiring an Indirect Procurement Manager for the DACH region.

Reporting into the Procurement Director Local, Indirect & Traded Goods, the Manager  Indirect Procurement DACH, focusing on Corporate products and services will have had exposure to several core indirect Corporate categories.

With your experience, you will be an essential part of the team and you will be responsible for cost reduction, supplier performance, risk mitigation, support to top line growth and innovation through the leverage of Procurement best practice tools in relation to Indirect and Traded Goods procurement.

As the Manager Indirect Procurement - Corporate, you will

·       Be the primary point of contact and reference for Indirect Corporate - category products and services for the DACH Business including Corporate Services, Marketing, HR, Facilities Management, IT, Health & Safety, Certification

·       Establish and execute, in line with local management team and Procurement tools and policies,  Indirect Corporate-category products and services-related activities to drive performance (Cost, Delivery, Services, Top line growth, Lean, Compliance) – Negotiations, Contract management

·       Support local deployment of procurement strategies (from Categories team) impacting DACH Business – Project management, change management

·       Ensure effective implementation and compliance with new 2One processes

·       Coordinate and lead data management jointly with stakeholders (eg. IT, Finance) for Business flawless execution – Budgeting, Savings, ERP integration 

As an Indirect Procurement Manager, you will bring

·       University degree (Economic, Engineering) with minimum 7+ years of work experience within an Indirect strategic procurement team with exposure across all  Corporate-category products and services

·       Experienced in building strategic partnership with vendors and introducing innovations to support top line growth

·       Experienced in managing internal and external stakeholders: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels in the business – ability to interact fluently in English and German.

·       Experienced in understanding and executing category strategy with track record of flawless launch of complex projects

·       Experienced in exceeding procurement KPIs in terms of savings, quality, payment terms

·       Experienced in implementing and applying best-in-class SAP processes

·       Autonomous, entrepreneurial mindset and result oriented: Capable of managing complexity with low level of information, decision maker and ability to execute
