Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Spine Sales Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales of surgical products within a defined territory, with a core focus on neuro and orthopedic spine surgeons. This role requires strong relationship-building capabilities, deep clinical understanding, and a proactive approach to achieving sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Promote and sell surgical products in accordance with company policies and ethical guidelines.

Achieve sales targets and expand market presence within the assigned territory.

Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calls, surgeon recruitment, and lead qualification.

Maintain deep clinical knowledge of spinal anatomy, procedures, and the use of surgical products.

Support surgical procedures by providing product expertise and in-theater case coverage.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including surgeons, hospital staff, and administrators.

Stay informed on competitive products, market trends, and local dynamics; report findings to management.

Provide high-quality on-call support and respond to customer inquiries promptly.

Manage loaner and consignment inventory to support surgery schedules and territory demands.

Oversee product samples and ensure adequate availability.

Assist in processing Purchase Orders and resolving customer invoicing issues.

Handle complaints in line with company procedures and escalate issues as needed.

Participate in industry conventions, training sessions, and clinical meetings as required.

Act as backup for other Sales Representatives in the region when necessary.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a Science or related discipline.

Minimum of 7 years of successful sales experience, preferably in the medical device or surgical field.

In-depth knowledge of spinal anatomy, surgical treatments, and procedural workflows.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a competitive environment.

Highly motivated, self-directed, and capable of working independently and collaboratively.

Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
