The Company
Our client is a global leader in scientific and regulatory services for the cosmetics and personal care industry. The company supports beauty brands worldwide with testing, toxicology, and compliance expertise — ensuring products are safe, effective, and aligned with complex international regulations.Already established in the U.S. through other divisions, the group is now expanding its cosmetics activities locally. To support this launch, they are seeking a Market Development Manager to help shape the entry strategy and deliver the first commercial successes.
The Role
This role combines strategic input with active business development. You will support the definition of the U.S. market approach while driving execution on the ground.- Strategic contribution – Work with leadership to adapt and implement the 3–5 year roadmap for cosmetics services in the U.S.
- Business development – Identify, engage, and secure early clients and partnerships across beauty, cosmetics, and personal care.
- Market insight – Monitor scientific, regulatory, and industry trends to guide positioning and commercial decisions.
- Networking & representation – Represent the company at trade shows, associations, and client meetings.
- Foundation building – Contribute to the setup of the future U.S. infrastructure and team.
Your Profile
- 5–7 years of experience in business development, market development, or client management within cosmetics, CDMO, or related scientific/regulatory services.
- Exposure to market entry or growth projects in the U.S. market.
- Strong relationship-building skills and a growing network within the U.S. beauty industry.
- Entrepreneurial and hands-on, balancing vision with execution.
- Based in the U.S., willing to travel as required.
