Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Calibration and Maintenance: Develop and implement calibration procedures for measurement and testing equipment and perform routine calibration and adjustment of instruments to minimize measurement errors.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze data to ensure measurement systems are performing accurately and report and review hydrocarbon product loss control performance; also conduct technical studies and technology evaluations.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements and maintain policies and procedures related to measurement systems.
- Project Management and Support: Manage engineering design and create AutoCAD drawings for projects while providing technical support and training to staff on the proper use of calibrated equipment.
- Innovation and Improvement: Investigate and implement new calibration technologies and methodologies.
- Training and knowledge transfer: Develop and maintain training programs for engineers, technicians, and operators.
- Compliance and Quality check: Conduct measurement surveys and compliance reviews and collaborate with quality assurance teams to identify and rectify potential issues in measurement processes.
Required Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering or any related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) License
- Certifications: Certified Calibration Technician (CCT), Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP) or Certifications from specific equipment manufacturers, such as Fluke, Keysight, or Yokogawa, can be beneficial.
- Experience: At least ten years of professional experience in measurement engineering or related fields, particularly in the oil and gas industry, is crucial.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, effective communication and ability to work in a multicultural environment
Specific working conditions:
- Rotation offshore: 28/28 or Office work (40h/per week)
- Transportation costs paid from home location to work location
- Expenses fully covered during rotation
