Role Description :

This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Laboratory Manager at RTP Laboratories Ltd in Dublin. The Medical Laboratory Manager will oversee the daily operations of the Medical Testing Laboratory, manage staff, ensure quality control and compliance with regulations, and collaborate with healthcare professionals.

Qualifications/Role Details.

Minimum Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field

Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a clinical laboratory setting

Strong knowledge of laboratory operations, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage priorities

Proficiency in relevant laboratory information systems and technology

Professional certification (e.g., ASCP, AMT) is a plus CORU Registration is a MUST.

Possess at least 7 years full time clinical experience as a Medical Scientist in a clinical diagnostic laboratory, 2 years year’s of which were spent in a promotional post (e.g. Medical Scientist, Senior or Medical Scientist, Specialist).
