Key Responsibilities:

Develop fabrication-friendly structural concepts and optimize skid layouts for modularization, lifting, transport, access, and maintenance.

Perform structural analysis for static, dynamic, wind, seismic, and lifting conditions using STAAD.Pro, RFEM, or SAP2000.

Ensure skid structures handle loads from piping, equipment, electrical trays, and instruments.

Collaborate with process, piping, and electrical/instrumentation teams to finalize skid layout.

Prepare and review 3D models and generate 2D fabrication drawings using TEKLA, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.

Create GA drawings, assembly drawings, and connection details per project standards.
-
Ensure constructability in coordination with fabrication vendors and review vendor documents for skid base frames, gratings, ladders, lifting lugs, and transport skids.

Validate lifting points, transport analysis, and handling conditions per lifting study.

Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards such as AISC, Eurocode, IS 800, ASME, and DNV.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s in Structural Engineering preferred.

10–15 years of structural design experience for modular process systems or skid-mounted units.

Proven experience in oil & gas, chemical, or green energy sectors with exposure to off-site fabrication and modularization.

Proficiency in STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, AutoCAD, TEKLA, Navisworks, and MS Office for calculations and documentation.
