Network & Security engineer – Iasi - hybrid

Job description

Would you like to work in an innovative and international company? Do you want to guard IT security on a group level?

As a network & security engineer you will be part of the IT infrastructure and security team.

Some of your diverse tasks:

• You offer the necessary support in the daily operations of our security infrastructure
• Together with colleagues and partners, you build on network and security projects
• You further implement and finetune our security roadbook.
• You write, test and maintain our disaster recovery road books for cyber security
• You maintain our security solutions and our network infrastructure
• You use tools and scripts to automate where possible
• You guard the security and monitor the environment
• You improve the systems where necessary
• You support the service desk colleagues in solving issues
• You are the local hands for your home-based factory in Romania
• You document the security and network infrastructure and your performed actions

We will discover together your interests in one of the following domains:

• Infrastructure
• Endpoints
• Microsoft 365
• OT

You will be a backup in the team for one or more topics.

You will report to the IT Infrastructure and Security manager.

Profile

• You followed an IT-oriented education or equivalent through experience
• You have knowledge in one or several of the following domains or are willing to have:
  • Firewalls
  • Fortinet Security Fabric
    • FortiMail
    • FortiSandbox
    • FortiGates
    • FortiManager
    • FortiAnalyzer
    • FortiAuthenticator
    • FortiNAC
  • SentinelOne end-point protection
  • Virtualization (VMware)
  • Networks (Switches, VLAN, STP, SNMP…)
  • OT security
  • Monitoring tools (Nagios)
  • SD-WAN
  • CLI
• You have a good knowledge of English (written and spoken) and Romanian
• You’re a team player and communicative
• You’re flexible and prepared to make a short trip abroad sporadically
