Candidate Profile/Job Description
Operations Manager
Your tasks:
Responsibility for the areas of production (manufacturing, assembly, work planning), supply chain (materials management and purchasing), scheduling and production planning as well as facility management.
Place of use only possible at the location in Stuttgart region.
Mobile working possible in principle; for the function, however, a high proportion of presence is required and desired.
A company car is currently not explicitly provided for the function, but pool cars are available. If that should be an indispensable criterion, you would have to renegotiate it again.
Business trips to suppliers and service providers are made sporadically; maybe 6-8 times a quarter, mostly nationwide.
In the course of expanding activities and the service provider portfolio, possibly also in neighboring European countries (e.g. Czech Republic, Luxembourg).
In the future, the spectrum can also be expanded to include other international trips via group projects (but then rather as an exception, probably 1-2 times a year)
Your profile:
Seniority through many years of management experience (multi-level structure).
Production-related and technical expertise and background (optimization of the external supply chain and internal value creation).
No pure series production, but complex products, partly small series production and individual batch sizes.
Completed technical studies or comparable training.
Several years of professional experience in a production-related area (engineering or operations or supply chain).
Strong leadership qualities.
Sound knowledge of lean management systems.
Sound experience with process optimization.
Knowledge of the implementation of the ISO 9001:2015 standard.
