What you will be doing:
- Understand current solution through reverse engineering techniques and ensure all batch jobs are executed without any delays and quality issues
- Responsible for coding and unit testing application software across all production support, enhancements and projects
- Maintain current applications which includes, but is not limited to, bug fixes, feature enhancements and performance tuning
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues; Identify and implements solutions
- Research and implement new technologies to enhance current processes, security and performance
- Develop technical solutions to a pre-defined requirement and develop components including extensions, views, customizations, modifications, reports and workflows independently or as a part of a team.
- Work in a cross-functional environment, develop solutions that integrate information technology & business process changes to support strategic business needs
- Work closely with IT leaders to ensure decisions are meeting long term needs
- Identify, communicate, and mitigate risks
- Knowledge of Oracle EBusiness database objects in addition to strong programming skills in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle scheduling tools and OA Framework.
- 4-5 years of hands on technology experience in Oracle ERP (R12 is mandatory)
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle EBS 12 Financial Modules
- Exposure to AR, AP, GL, Order Management and Purchase modules is mandatory
- Good to have exposure in Inventory and Fixed Assets module
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Demonstrated track record of consistently delivering high-quality software solutions
- Willingness to guide and willingness to learn
- Strategic thinker able to make decisions with short term and long-term considerations
