Job Details: 

• Architect and develop solutions to support e-Commerce business. 
• Present solutions and long-range planning / roadmaps to leadership. 
• Plan and execute Oracle upgrades for Oracle 12c and 19c databases. 
• Develop, manage, and maintain best security and compliance practices.
• Develop automated monitoring and alerting to support 24x7 operations. 
• Lead and mentor junior database administrators. 
• Manage team activities and present status reports to senior leadership. 
• Manage and tune tablespace utilization and storage trends. 
• Create system performance monitoring and tuning dashboards. 
• Support of DevOps based environment, enabling self-service to other teams. 
• Assist in software deployments and monitor changes in established performance baselines.

Qualifications: 

• Excellent team skills as well as written and verbal communications 
• Familiarity with Oracle E-Business apps / Oracle Apps DBA required
• 24/7 On-Call availability for service outages (currently running at 99.994% system uptime) 
• Expert knowledge in Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and Real Applications Clusters (RAC). 
• Excellent knowledge of Linux and shell/bash script. 
• Self-motivated with attention to detail and a desire to explore and master new emerging technologies 
• At least 10-15 years’ experience in oracle database administration 
• Experience in Ecommerce operations strongly preferred.
• Experience with Oracle ASM preferred. 
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and data connectors preferred.
