Responsibilities:

• Design, maintain, and optimize Oracle databases for diverse usage scenarios.
• Collaborate on capacity planning and implement performance enhancements.
• Develop robust backup and recovery strategies to ensure data protection.
• Manage program migrations, database changes, and reference data adjustments.
• Proactively perform database re-organizations for optimal performance.
• Evaluate Oracle releases, third-party products, and PowerShell scripting for compatibility.
• Provide technical support to application teams and troubleshoot issues.
• Monitor database performance using tools like OMI, Service Now, Toad.
• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle DBA Clustering.
• Familiarity with other RDBMS platforms (MS SQL, MySQL).

Qualifications:

• Oracle Certified DB Professional (OCP) with 8+ years of Oracle DBA experience.
• Proficiency in database design, normalization, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
• Experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, and Unix.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools: OMI, Service Now, Toad.
• Knowledge of RDBMS: MS SQL, MySQL.
