The position involves managing a team of platform developers and engineers. Objective: to develop IaaS/PaaS/SaaS services for private cloud.
Today the company has implemented a private cloud based on OpenStack, the infrastructure as code model provides IaaS (VMs, K8S, networks, load balancers) and PaaS (DBaaS, DevSecOps platform, integration platform) services in self-service mode with billing similar to public clouds. As part of the implementation of the strategy, the cloud platform is a strategic development area and the platform team is being significantly expanded in this respect.
Team: 40+ people
Stack: OpenStack (Kolla, K8s), K8s, Ansible/Terraform, Prometheus/Grafana, Python / Go / Java (not critical). Important: DevOps stack: Docker + Kubernetes + ansible / terraform
Responsibilities:
- Development of IaaS/PaaS services for cloud project in the role of team leader (DBMS as a service, DevSecOps services, portal / workflow services)
- System architecture design (preferably if you have Russian and international experience in similar projects)
- People management (hiring/firing, retention, developing PaaS development team). Team: platform developers, automation engineers, etc.
Requirements:
- Experience in developing IaaS/PaaS services for a private/public cloud project in a team leader role (database as a service, integration platforms, identity as a service, IS services, portal/workflow service)
- DevOps experience (Docker/Kubernetes, Ansible/Terraform etc)
- Experience in Python development (API, platform development) /Go (under k8s)
- Advantage for the applicant: experience in a billing development project
