About the Opportunity:

- Provide comprehensive assessments for children suspected of developmental challenges, utilising advanced diagnostic tools and a collaborative approach.
- Develop individualised intervention plans, working closely with families and other specialists to optimise development.

- Offer expert advice and support to families navigating the complexities of developmental disorders.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough clinical assessments, collaborating with parents and caregivers to understand developmental concerns.
- Diagnose a wide range of developmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, and learning difficulties.
- Develop and implement individualised intervention plans, incorporating various therapeutic approaches tailored to each child's needs.
- Collaborate with paediatricians, psychologists, therapists, and other specialists to ensure holistic care.
- Advocate for early intervention and provide ongoing support to families, navigating resources and building their capacity.
- Actively participate in research activities, potentially leading to publications and presentations, advancing knowledge in the field.
Qualifications:
- Board-certified or equivalent in Pediatrics with subspecialty training in Paediatric Developmental Disorders or Child Psychiatry from Europe, UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a busy paediatric developmental practice with demonstrably positive outcomes for children.
- Proven expertise in diagnosing and managing diverse developmental disorders.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills with a child-centred and family-oriented approach.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; Arabic language skills are a plus.
