About the Opportunity:
Join the dedicated team and:
- Interpret a wide range of paediatric imaging studies, including X-rays, ultrasounds, CT scans, and MRIs.
- Provide expert opinions and collaborate with physicians to optimise patient care and diagnosis.
- Utilise advanced imaging techniques like interventional radiology and foetal medicine, when required.
- Educate and guide residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals in paediatric imaging.
- Stay at the forefront by participating in research activities and conferences, shaping the future of paediatric imaging.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse and interpret complex paediatric imaging studies with accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with paediatricians, surgeons, and other specialists to formulate diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Perform image-guided procedures when necessary, ensuring minimally invasive approaches for young patients.
- Recommend and optimise imaging protocols for various paediatric conditions.
- Contribute to teaching and training of residents and other healthcare professionals in paediatric imaging.
- Actively participate in research activities, potentially leading to publications and presentations, advancing knowledge in the field.
Qualifications:
- Board-certified or equivalent in Radiology with subspecialty training in Paediatric Imaging from Europe, UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a busy paediatric imaging practice with demonstrably positive patient outcomes.
- Proven expertise in interpreting a wide range of paediatric imaging modalities.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with a strong patient-centred approach.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; Arabic language skills are a plus.
