What you will do:

• Work with technical leads to develop/write software requirements and design specifications for CRs / New requirement.
• Work with project managers and technical leads to create a development / CR plan and delivery timeline.
• Responsible for coding and unit testing application software across all production support, enhancements and projects
• Maintain current applications which includes, but is not limited to, bug fixes, feature enhancements and performance tuning
• Understand current solution through reverse engineering techniques and ensure all batch jobs are executed without any delays and quality issues
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues; Identify and implements solutions
• Research and implement new technologies to enhance current processes, security and performance
• Develop technical solutions to a pre-defined requirement and develop components including extensions, views, customizations, modifications, reports and workflows independently or as a part of a team.
• Work in a cross-functional environment, develop solutions that integrate information technology & business process changes to support strategic business needs
• Work closely with IT leaders to ensure decisions are meeting long term needs
• Identify, communicate, and mitigate risks  
• Maintain and support various modules of the Oracle EBS Financials & SCM modules.

Skill Requirements:

• Strong PL/ SQL development experience  
• Role requires primarily hands-on coding
• Strong Development, design, test and implement complex database programs using Oracle.
• Require Strong debugging / problem analysis skills.
• Strong experience writing complex SQL's, stored procedures and calculations is a must.
• In-depth knowledge of Cursors, Ref-Cursors, Packages, Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Index and SQL Loader.
• Should have good knowledge of Collections Objects and advanced PL SQL Concepts.
• Experience in database design, modeling and implementation using Oracle, TOAD, PL/SQL Developer and SQL Developer
• Knowledge of Oracle scheduling tools and OA Framework
• Knowledge of Oracle e-Business database objects in Oracle EBS 12 Financial Modules is optional
• Exposure to AR, AP, GL, Order Management, Purchase, Inventory and Fixed Asset modules is optional
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or 5+ years equivalent IT experience
• Oracle certification is a plus.
