Designation: Product Manager
Years of Experience: 7+ years
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Product owners will be at the intersection of business, technology, and User experience to manage the products offered by the company.
- Will own the definition and delivery of products leveraging emerging technologies & market developments.
- The role will be responsible for managing the product portfolio, communicating unique value propositions, and assisting the business development & sales teams in growing the customer base.
- Be the evangelist of the product and its vision and inspire the product development teams with that passion.
- Define the Product Vision, Strategy, and Roadmap based on business needs, technical constraints, and customer experience.
- Own, drive, and manage all phases of a product's life cycle.
- Understand the product's market and its target customers.
- Work with the product development team to innovate and maintain the product's competitive edge.
- Elicit, document, manage, and prioritize customer requirements.
- Act as the customers' advocate by diligently eliciting and articulating their needs.
- Work closely with sales, marketing, engineering, and support teams to ensure business and customer satisfaction goals are met.
- Write business requirements and functional specification documents.
- Train, coach, and mentor trainees and junior team members.
Skills and Qualification:
- Having overall 7+ years of experience in Product Management and should have a fintech background
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use complex data to manage metrics, verify assumptions, drive process improvements, and develop business cases.
- Meticulous attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing for priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to deliver results in an ambiguous and dynamic business environment.
- Good experience in business analysis.
- Communication - Excellent oral and written communication, creating marketing
- collateral, delivering presentations, and sharing information and ideas with others. Should be a good listener and willing to accept differing viewpoints.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and coordinate efforts cross-functionally with business owners, engineering teams, sales and marketing teams, and customers.
- Ability to train, coach, and mentor trainees and junior team members.
- Ability to prioritize complex deliverables, understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade-offs, and run meetings with technical and business leaders.
