Product/Sr. Product Specialist – Individual Contributor Role, Functional Area – Field Marketing Job
Summary - Marketing and Pre-Sales of assigned product line in assigned territory
Key Responsibilities:
A-Market Mapping:
- Responsible for the market/hospitals mapping, developing/defining prospect list and market coverage for his/her product portfolio.
- To identify new potential customers and showcase our product superiority through technical presentations.
- To identify new potential areas of application for range of products.
- Assist in conducting market research to find answers about consumer requirements, habits and trends etc.
B- Market Development:
- To participate in varied types of conferences, exhibitions, workshops, CMEs and hospital programs, etc to showcase our product portfolio
- Execution of continuous product drives and focused product demonstrations to provide potential customers with opportunity to see product in use and appreciation of clinical value
- To be responsible for generation of demand with the help of strategies established by corporate marketing.
- To nourish & develop professional and credible relationships with key opinion leaders and reference/training centres.
- To conduct post sale surveillance programs, get feedback from customers to enhance growth prospects for the region.
- Partners with other cross functional teams in selling the company’s products, drive continuous account growth and creating value proposal for the customer.
C- Market Communication:
• Assist in successful execution of marketing plans, campaigns and new product launches
• Assist in developing ideas for creative marketing campaigns in assigned territory
• Assist in analyzing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies.
• Coordinate with external vendors to execute promotional events and campaigns
D- Miscellaneous:
- To work towards achievement of Business/Operating Plans by monitoring placed orders, manage inventory and coordinating with cross functional/support functions.
- Support in driving business with distribution network
- To be responsible for the training of customers/clinicians during the installation/implementation process.
- Develop and maintain in depth knowledge for assigned product(s) / specialty through attendance / participation at key internal meetings / training sessions, relevant congresses, and seminars and by regular self - study of the available clinical literature.
- Responsible for branding of client as an organization including “top of the mind” recall for client’s products among the target customers.
- To ensure compliance with all applicable national laws and regulations, guidelines, codes of conduct client’s policies and procedures and accepted standards of best practices.
Qualifications:
- UG: Graduation with science background (B.Sc, B Parma, Bio-tech, Life Sciences, Bio-Med Engineers)
- PG: MS/M.Sc (Science), MTech (BioMed Engineers/Bio-Technology), MBA/PGDM (Marketing & Sales) will be an added advantage.
Functional Experience:
• Minimum 02 years of Experience in Healthcare Industry (Devices/Capital Equipment will be preferred)
• Well conversant to speak with the doctors, nurses, hospital administrations.
