Responsibilities:

• Responsible for executing the production Plan & control Production processes effectively with Safety, Quality & Productivity in mind & aligning with PAN India initiatives related to stent market.
• Establish daily/weekly production meeting in terms of Production performance, production short fall, quality metrics, manufacturing bottlenecks and inventory execute to attain the same including generating consumption reports.
• Manpower planning & allocation of people on the manufacturing lines during the shifts. Identify man power requirements and Coordinating with HR for manpower recruitment.
• Team management: Manage and lead a direct team and work closely with QA/RA team. Communicate production status to team and to upper management on a regular basis.
• Documentation control: To write the production process SOPs and to ensure that the training is been delivered to all user on time and file is updated with current revision.
• BMR (Batch Manufacturing Records): Batch record Sheets, production logbooks, other documents required to meet GMP & HSE requirements.
• Meeting the production targets & delivering the target OEE's. Prepare and execute plans to scale up production keeping in view the long term business objectives of the company
• Maintain & perform Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Perform the SAP transactions for accounting of material & FG's.
• Production process audit: Determining quality control standards in consultation with marketing and QA/RA and adhering to the same.
• Coordinate raw & packing material planning with the warehouse.
• Support new products development, trials, and validation & CIP projects.
• Control material wastage & meet the expected yields. Overseeing production processes/Implement/develop existing processes to minimize wastage and drive down overall manufacturing costs Selecting, ordering and purchasing materials in coordinating with stores and purchasing.
• Organizing the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment to ensure calibration status is always maintained.
• Liaison with buyers, marketing/purchase and sales staff to ensure required materials is available to support all aspects of the production.
• Introducing innovative manufacturing processes

Requisite Skills:

• Education: A degree in engineering discipline is preferable.
• Knowledgeable in the manufacturing of Medical devices, preferably Stents (Cardio Vascular (PTA/PTCA) stents delivery System crimping and drug coating).
• SAP awareness, Computer savvy.
• Team Building.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude.
