We are seeking an experienced Production Planner who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where precision, timing, and coordination are key.
This role will oversee global production planning and inventory alignment across manufacturing, logistics, and multiple sales channels — ensuring on-time delivery, cost optimization, and operational excellence for D2C, marketplace, and retail operations.
The ideal candidate is a detail-driven, analytical planner who takes full ownership of outcomes, ensuring every product reaches the right place, at the right time, at the right cost.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain global production plans aligned with omni-channel demand forecasts (D2C, e-commerce, and retail).
Translate sales forecasts, new product launches, and replenishment plans into executable manufacturing and delivery schedules.
Coordinate with manufacturing plants, logistics teams, and 3PL partners to ensure timely production, shipment, and inventory availability.
Maintain real-time visibility into inventory flow, lead times, and production bottlenecks; proactively resolve disruptions.
Track and report performance on critical KPIs — including On-Time Delivery (OTD), fill rate, and inventory turnover.
Support S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processes through demand-supply alignment, capacity planning, and scenario modeling.
Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, procurement, and commercial teams to balance cost efficiency and service level performance.
Ensure ERP and planning systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) reflect accurate production schedules and demand signals.
Continuously drive process improvements in planning accuracy, communication flow, and operational predictability.
Qualifications & Experience
Experience: 7+ years in production planning, supply chain, or operations — preferably in D2C, consumer electronics, or global manufacturing environments.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Operations, or Engineering (APICS/CPIM certification preferred).
Proven expertise in multi-region production and inventory planning, balancing cost, lead time, and service levels.
Strong analytical skills with deep understanding of demand forecasting, capacity management, and inventory optimization.
Advanced proficiency in ERP and planning tools (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Excel-based data modeling.
Exceptional attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and ability to operate under tight timelines.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
High ownership mindset with a drive for continuous improvement and delivery excellence.
