Antal International is actively looking for a Project Manager (manufacturing industry) in Iasi

The company

Our CLIENT is an international industrial holding company specialized in the development and production of precision gears, transmissions and actuators for the aerospace industry.

The CLIENT is active in 3 locations worldwide: the USA, Romania and Belgium, and has an impressive portfolio of clients such as Boeing, Airbus, Bombardier, Asco and Rolls Royce.

Within the international Project Management Organization (PMO), Project Manager is assigned to manage various customer projects and internal projects.

Main responsibilities:

•           Define the project detail scope & needs together with the internal or external customer;

•           Develop project planning in cooperation with the involved departments;

•           Take the responsibility for the execution of the complete project, while respecting the budget & specification;

•           Coordinate and communicate clearly with the (multi-functional) project team (status report, forecast report and progress reporting);

•           Actively look to solve problems, identify and prevent potential issues or risks

•           Prepare regular status report presentations;

•           Work with commercial teams to respond to RFI, RFQ and RFP documents;

•           Oversee the successful transition of the project from sales into execution, through the project lifecycle, and then from execution to after care, to ensure continuous provision of a high level of care to the customer;

•           Lead, develop, organize and motivate your project team.

Ideal Candidate profile:

•           > 5 years of previous project management experience;

•           MS in engineering (Mechanical engineering experience is an advantage);

•           Technically well-grounded and have a hands-on mentality for Continuous Improvement;

•           Proven track record to work in ambiguous scenarios, with multi-functional teams;

•           Customer oriented PM experience. Knowledge of the PMBOK® Guide/PMP® certified;

•           Self-driven, eager to contribute, develop, learn and grow;

•           Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both Romanian and English;

•           Good understanding of the use of Microsoft’s Suite of Apps, incl. MS Project;

•           Able to travel internationally and regionally (10% of your time) with peaks of up to 50%;

Project Manager will report directly to the Head of PMO;
