Job: Readymix Concrete Technical Manager

Location: Abu Dhabi – UAE

Industry: Construction / Ready-Mix Concrete

Salary: AED 12,000 + Company Vehicle

Responsibilities:

• Developing and optimizing concrete mix designs, including high-performance and specialty concretes.

• Managing QA/QC procedures, including material sampling, laboratory testing, and product certification.

• Ensuring compliance with ASTM, BS, and EN standards, as well as local regulatory requirements.

• Coordinating with clients, consultants, and project teams to address technical requirements and performance specifications.

• Supervising and training laboratory and quality control teams to ensure testing accuracy and consistency.

• Evaluating and recommending admixtures, aggregates, and cementitious materials for performance and cost efficiency.

• Supporting troubleshooting at plant or site level to resolve technical and quality issues promptly.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Materials, or Chemical Engineering (or a related field).

• Minimum 7 years of UAE experience in technical or QA/QC roles within readymix or concrete production.

• Strong command of ASTM, BS, and EN concrete standards.

• Hands-on experience with admixtures, cement chemistry, and high-performance concrete.

• Proven ability to liaise effectively with consultants, contractors, and clients on technical matters.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Strong leadership in maintaining quality standards and driving technical innovation.
