Role Title:
Regional Sales Manager – South for Traditional Trade, Pharmacy Chains and Standalone Modern Trade (Areas handled –Karnataka, Kerela, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Tamil Nadu)
Reporting to: Trade Sales Head/National Sales Head
Direct Reports – ASMs
Job Description:
- This is a leadership role responsible for heading the sales function for entire Region.
- The candidate must play a strong role of catalyst and build a team of ASMs, SOs, ISRs and DBSMs to achieve the sales targets and growth objectives for OTC Business.
- The individual must be highly motivated with an entrepreneurial drive to excel and accustomed to working in a highly competitive environment and exposed to both medical and consumer business.
- The business being at a nascent and evolving stage, the individual would be instrumental in assisting the Sales Head, Marketing Head and Business Head in setting performance /hygiene standards and benchmarks.
- The leader must drive a healthy work culture and balance the same with strong analytical plus insight led working style within the Region which should be highly collaborative. Understanding of ways of working of Ethical Sales and Marketing will be an added advantage.
Qualification:
- Graduate/Post-Graduate in any stream
- MBA with specialization in Marketing preferred
Experience:
- 15 + years of experience in Sales with at least 10+ years in Southern Region
- Experience in handling Traditional Trade (Chemist/Grocer and Super Stockiest)/Modern Trade/Pharmacy chains and Self-Service Stores
