Position based on the site located South-East of the PARIS Area (77), France (45 km from Paris)
Our client is one of the world leaders in subcontracting in the Industrial and Household, Cosmetic and Pharmaceutical sectors. It is a designer and manufacturer of cosmetic products for internationally renowned brands specialised in the packaging of skin care and make-up products.
Regulatory Affairs Director for Cosmetics, Medical Devices, OTC (M/F) - Based on site, South-East of the PARIS Area (77), France
Reporting to : VP R&D BEAUTY & Homecare
MAIN MISSION:
Responsible for all activities related to laws and regulations in the cosmetics and chemical research and development area.
The Director sets the operational strategy for the company's regulatory activity at the Global, National and International level for the cosmetics, medical devices and OTC sectors in order to guarantee the compliance of the finished products with the relevant regulations in the different countries covered
- Manage the EMEA R&D regulatory team (Cosmetics, Medical Devices, OTC): Regulatory Operations for finished products, Raw Material Database Operations, Regulatory Information and Monitoring, Team Training.
- Manage the R&D USA and BRAZIL regulatory team in dot line (matrix responsibility)
- Recruit, train/coach and evaluate the team in a context of strong transformation,
- Provide technical support to the team and other internal activities,
- Represent the French regulatory team within the Group
- As an expert, advise and support clients on all regulatory aspects of a product, from development to production.
- Actively contribute to the company's various regulatory projects
- Ensure deliverables are in perfect compliance with internal and external quality standards as well as with the defined budgets and deadlines.
- Represent the company to customers, health authorities and organizations.Create, implement and optimize internal business processes.
- Leading the daily work organization: distribution of projects, definition of tasks, provision of resources etc...
- Efficient implementation of the information in the chosen information system
- Represent the Beauty and Home Care R&D within the Regulatory Governance committee
INTERACTIVITY : - - Clients: Group sales and marketing departments, Project Manager, Client R&D department
- - Suppliers: R&D, sales and marketing departments
- - Partners: all departments and employees of the company.
- - Authorities: European authorities, French drug and health product safety authority ANSM
REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma : Master Degree (BAC+5) in chemistry, biology and biochemistry, pharmacy
- - Experience: Minimum 10 years in the pharmaceutical or cosmetic industry
- - French (Fluent) & English (Professional practice)
- - Software, specific tools: office automation (Pack Office), COPTIS, Master Data, Bubble
- - Logical and analytical mind, method, rigor, team spirit
- - Ability to listen, to teach, to make recommendations
- Ability to communicate
