Our client is both a pharmaceutical company specialising in the research, development and marketing of eye products and also a colour expert, with a wide range of make-up for the complexion, eyes, lips and beauty accessories. Its brands are primarily distributed through the pharmacy network in France or via distributors in some 30 countries.
He is looking for a SALES DIRECTOR France & Export / Eye products & Colors based in Paris, France
Reporting to the President, you will be in charge of the following missions
- Ensure and develop sales by ensuring the right level of margin;
- You will also be responsible for the development of the company's sales and marketing strategy and for the development of the company's marketing strategy;
- Analysing the different components of the markets, determining the strategic orientations, priorities, objectives to be achieved and the means to be implemented, defining marketing and sales strategies in line with the general strategy of the company
-Identify promising markets and organise competitive intelligence; identify environmental threats and business opportunities, the company's strengths and weaknesses and, if necessary, set up resolution processes
- Develop and negotiate contracts with commercial partners (agents, importers, distributors, etc.)
- Be the company's main contact for commercial partners in France and abroad; interface with the company's main support functions (sales, supply, marketing, finance, regulatory affairs, legal affairs for contracts, etc.)
- Participation in trade shows and conferences (e.g. Pharmagora)
- Manage the budgets (structure, prospecting, promotion, travel, etc.) of the Sales department
- Define and optimise the annual bonus systems based on the objectives of the sales staff
- Manage the company's development projects
- Ensure that sales are collected in accordance with the payment deadlines defined by management
-Analyse the national and international environment, anticipate market developments (SWOT) and propose actions

- Proven knowledge of pharmacy distribution
- Education at Bac +5 level
o Master's degree in business, marketing, sales, sales management
o Engineering school diploma
o Business school diploma
o MBA (Master of Business Administration)
- At least 8 years of professional experience as well as a solid experience in team management, ideally in a similar sector of activity (cosmetics and medical devices)
- Fluent in French and English
