Job Opportunity: Sales Manager – Iraq
Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a motivated Senior Sales Engineer to join our team in Iraq, focusing on machinery sales and manufacturing for the food and detergent sectors. The ideal candidate will have strong technical sales experience, excellent client relationship skills, and a proven track record in achieving sales targets. Strong connections within the Iraqi market are essential to drive growth and secure high-value contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Actively identify and capitalize on high-value business opportunities within the Iraqi manufacturing market, especially in the FMCG sector, establishing strategic initiatives to expand the customer base.
• Secure engineering project contracts by employing effective negotiation techniques that align with corporate objectives and consistently aim to exceed sales targets.
• Advocate for innovative engineering solutions in manufacturing sectors through clear and professional communication of product value and benefits to prospective clients.
• Conduct thorough market research to identify growth opportunities and open new markets, informing product development and sales strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure successful project execution, with a focus on exceeding client expectations.
• Provide technical expertise to clients through comprehensive presentations and demonstrations that enhance their understanding of our offerings.
• Monitor sales performance metrics regularly and offer insightful recommendations to foster continuous improvement in strategies and processes.
• Establish effective mechanisms for gathering and analysing customer feedback, driving ongoing improvements in the engineering products and services we offer in the manufacturing industry.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• B.A. in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 3–6 years of experience in the manufacturing machines industry and technical sales.
• Strong customer focus and exceptional negotiation skills.
• Excellent verbal & written skills in the English language.
• You must own a car and be available for immediate joining.
• Excellent connections in the Iraqi manufacturing, especially in FMCG sectors.
• Proven experience in B2B trading, particularly in machines, production lines, and spare parts sales.
