Summary :
- Responsible for growth and expansion of direct sales and profit margins within assigned accounts and/or territory/region.
- Establishes professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts to offer solution (Freight Management Platform) for the freight services.
- Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and margin.
- This is a self and team quota carrying role. The sales manager will lead a team of 3-4 sales team members and report to the Sales Head.
Key roles and responsibilities:
1. Sales planning to meet set self and team quota goals in alignment with business strategies of the client by forecasting, sales planning, and pipeline development.
2. Targeting primarily new clients and develop existing client base
3. Develop & Lead the sales team to ensure they meet and exceed their sales quotas
Key requirement:
Desired Candidate profile:
1. Excellent track record achieving and exceeding targets
2. Excellent interpersonal communication skills (Verbal and written)
3. B2B sales experience preferably selling logistics / E-Commerce products.
4. Knowledge & understanding of international freight and operation- import market (AIR/LCL/FCL)
5. Experience in leading teams of 5 + team members
6. Effective presentation and customer relations skills
Education
o Graduate / MBA in Sales and Marketing
o Excellent knowledge of computers, Tech savvy.
