Job Description

Deliver, standardize and drive efficiency in continuous finance processes in Record-to-Report (R2R) in the region.
Execute the Service Delivery for the R2R function and sub-processes (financial accounting, management accounting, treasury, taxation, intercompany accounting, inventory valuation, fixed asset, etc) in order to ensure an efficient, effective, and cost-effective service to the customer.
Execute R2R shared service center quality levels through service level agreements, performance metrics, and continuous governance rhythm.
Run all periodic processes related to R2R and general financial accounting, including month-end activities, account reconciliations, periodic reporting, metrics, governance, and internal control.
Support the alignment of Cost and Accounts Payable teams into the R2R Vertical and identify standardization opportunities to optimize the execution, process design, and people management aspects of the vertical.
Develop and implement procedures and operational ways of work in a standardized, efficient and effective manner for all markets in the region in the realm of the R2R and general financial accounting stream.
Maintain R2R and general financial accounting-related internal controls within the region; ensure robust account reconciliations and SOX compliance.
Keep abreast of emerging accounting and reporting standards.
Support the implementation of new accounting pronouncements as required.
