About the Role
Join our global team in driving large-scale S/4HANA transformations for leading international clients. We are looking for an experienced and passionate SAP MDG Developer / Technical Consultant to design and deliver innovative Master Data Governance solutions that shape the digital backbone of global enterprises.In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions specifically for the Material Management domain. This includes technical development, workflow configuration, data modeling, and integration to ensure high-quality master data across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement SAP MDG-MM solutions to support material master data governance.
- Configure data models, UI, and workflows for material master processes using BRF+, BAdIs, and ABAP enhancements.
- Develop validations, derivations, and mappings using SMT and BRF+ to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
- Integrate MDG-MM with SAP ECC or S/4HANA systems and external applications using DRF (Data Replication Framework).
- Collaborate with business and functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Support testing phases (Unit, SIT, UAT) and troubleshoot issues related to material master data.
- Maintain documentation for configurations, custom developments, and governance processes.
- 5–8 years of experience in SAP MDG development, with a focus on MM Module.
- Strong proficiency in ABAP, BRF+, BAdIs, and Responsibility Management.
- Experience with workflow development (BRF+ and traditional SAP workflows) and Data Quality Management.
- Hands-on expertise in MDG Data Modeling, SMT Mapping, and UI configurations.
- Hands-on with data replication frameworks (DRF), ALE IDocs, Proxy & Webservices.
- Solid understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) principles.
- Strong skills in ABAP programming and SAP UI5/Fiori development.
- Excellent problem-solving mindset, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
