About the Role:

Position: Software Development Engineer I-Tester

Location: Pune

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans for web and mobile applications, focusing on functionality, usability, and performance.
• Conduct thorough UI/UX testing to identify and report usability issues, and develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like JMeter and Jest.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, troubleshoot and debug software defects to ensure application stability.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers throughout the development lifecycle and contribute to the improvement of existing testing methodologies and tools.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in testing frameworks and best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 2 to 3 years of experience in software development or testing.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, testing methodologies, and experience with manual, UI/UX, and exploratory testing.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Java, and experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Working knowledge of Linux and familiarity with command-line tools; familiarity with AWS services is a plus.
