Role Objectives
The Senior Brand Manager will be responsible for building and growing topline, profitability on existing range of premium salt products while strengthening consumer affinity with strong marketing campaigns. This role will also provide opportunity to lead innovations in the portfolio which can help gain share from locals/branded competitions in growing segments. This role requires a candidate with strong brand building, people management, strategic thinking and bias for action skillsets.
Key Responsibilities
• Anchor the volume, revenue and profitability target delivery for the brands, by working closely with cross functional teams and proactively solving for challenges
• Deliver growth by improving brand health metrics such as awareness, offtakes, market share, penetration & distribution
• Deliver strong consumer actionable insights & convert them into impactful trade and consumer activations to grow business metrics
• Lead brand P&L metrics to proactively improve the 6Ps
• Independently lead brand strategy and devise GTM accordingly to deliver portfolio growth
• Get a strong category and competition understanding to identify growth opportunities
• Work closely with R&D, Packaging, production & manufacturing team to develop pipeline for variant extensions/new relevant categories
• Build strong working relationships with peers, cross functional teams and grooming reporting talents
Desired Candidate Profile & Qualifications
• 7+ years of experience in brand management working with leading FMCG brands
• Proven track record of building brands, GTM excellence, strong media understanding and devising impactful communications
• Good stakeholder management and ability to deliver goals despite constrained resources
• Strong understanding of consumer and research data including Nielsen, HHP etc
• Relevant experience in handling Digital First brands and driving innovation will be preferred
• Educational Qualification – MBA (Major in marketing preferred)
