In 1985 They founded a North American subsidiary for the local markets. After just two years, the company's headquarters were relocated from California to Detroit, Michigan.

Candidate Profil/Job Description
TASKS
Management of development projects in the field of e-mobility, e.g., for the development of drive units
(e-machine, inverter, HV battery, fuel cell)
or for the development and system integration of an electrified drive
Assumption of technical and commercial responsibility for results in the project, including precise tracking of the financial situation of the project as well as sustainable and skillful management of additional expenses
Design and coordination of the project team, management of the sub-project managers and control of the suppliers through a very good overview of all technical, financial and personnel issues of the project
Ensuring decision-making and assuming responsibility on the basis of meaningful recommendations from the sub-project managers
Responsibility for compliance and continuous improvement of all project-related processes
Ensuring the necessary coordination and communication with customers, internal departments as well as internal and external project partners
Management-compatible reporting and independent escalation of necessary topics
Evaluation of your own projects with regard to innovation and expandability
Takeover of the project planning during the acquisition and support in the preparation of the offer
Guidance and coordination of project managers for further projects
Continuous improvement and monitoring of compliance with project management processes
Development of new business areas for current and new projects as well as support for the optimization of the BU portfolio
QUALIFICATION
German Language min B2
Completed engineering studies, preferably in the field of mechanical engineering or mechatronics
At least three years of significant professional experience as a project manager (m / f / d) or department head (m / f / d)
Experience with the relevant project management tools and processes
Experience in proactive customer management as well as an entrepreneurial mindset and positive attitude
English C1 skill levels
Great passion for the topic of project management as well as a strong will to design within the given possibilities
Strong instinct to recognize possible problems and to take appropriate measures with a strong focus
Clear and binding communication and motivation skills
