• Masters plus 5 years or bachelors plus 8 years experience in web application development and architecture.
• Advanced knowledge of Java and all its products, from frameworks to libraries
• The ability to work with databases and SQL
• Extensive experience using open source software libraries
• Implementation experience of Product or service will be an added advantage
• Ability to learn the company suite of products quickly, support them in managing and maintaining the technical assets.
• Strong commitment to good engineering discipline and process including testing, code reviews and delivering unit tests in conjunction with feature delivery.
• Must possess excellent communication and teamwork skills. Strong presentation and facilitation skills are required.
• Self-starter that is results focused with the ability to work independently and in teams.

GOOD TO HAVE:

• Proficient in SQL (Oracle and Postgres)
• Experience in developing and maintaining shell scripts and command-line tools.
• Hands-on experience with Appian Pervasive (Prior Versions)
• Experience working within a distributed engineering team including offshore
• Familiarity and experience with agile (scrum) development process
• Proven track record of identifying and championing new technologies that enhance the end-user experience, software quality, and developer productivity.

WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU'LL

• Onboard with the company Connect Implementation Learning Series and well-versed in all associated objects and functionalities
• Become familiar with the Delta to Connect migration code base, development processes, and deployments.
• Become familiar with the ongoing migration of different Customer classifications

WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU'LL

• Become a contributor to the migration process by executing migration assets.
• Contribute to the solution and design of various migration assets.
• Design and build scripts that facilitate migrations in part or in full.

WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU'LL

• Part of designing and building a complex solution to migrate customers from Classes 1 and 2. 
• Working more autonomously and responsibly to answer queries and customer requests
• Helping to troubleshoot migration assets.
• Be responsible for managing and monitoring the continuous migration effort.

WITHIN TWELVE MONTHS, YOU'LL

• Become a team leader, managing a batch of customers end-to-end in their migrations.
• Mentor other developers.
