Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain testing strategies and protocols for all observability tools
• Create and execute test plans and test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of our tools
• Collaborate with development team to identify and resolve defects
• Identify and communicate risks and issues related to the observability tools to the team
• Continuously improve test processes and tools
• Develop comprehensive test suites and strive for full automation coverage of key product features
• Design, build, and manage advanced automated testing frameworks

Requirements:

• Strong experience in software testing, with a focus on observability tools
• Experience working with Kubernetes and containerization
• Knowledge of testing methodologies and best practices
• Familiarity with machine learning and AIOps is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Extended Linux knowledge in general; familiarity with Linux administration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in working in a virtual and distributed environment. Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at management levels.
• Very good understanding and exposure to Agile methodologies, CI principles and fast-delivery environments.
• Fluency in languages like Python, JavaScript or Go
• Experience in Agile process and CI/CD pipeline tools like Jenkins, Drone, Cirrus-CI, Github Actions etc.
• Experience with Distributed systems, IaaS/PaaS (infrastructure-as-a-service and platform-as-a-service).
• Experience in UI testing.

Nice to have:

• Master's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) and 7+ years of related work experience.
• Experience with automation around Public Clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure or others)
• Experience with Go, Ginkgo, Bash, or Bats
• Experience  with Cypress
• Experience with GitHub Actions
• Experience with terraform
