About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer or Lead with expertise in testing automation to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of automated testing solutions, leveraging Python, Selenium, and AWS technologies. As a key member of our software loading team, you will drive the design, development, and execution of automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of automated testing frameworks using Python, Selenium, and other relevant technologies.
• Define testing strategies and best practices for automated testing across multiple projects and platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements and develop comprehensive test plans.
• Mentor and coach junior team members in testing automation techniques and best practices.
• Establish and maintain automated testing pipelines within CI/CD environments for seamless integration and deployment.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to ensure high-quality, scalable test automation solutions.
• Analyze test results and provide insights to stakeholders on software quality, performance, and reliability.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in testing automation, continually enhancing our testing processes and tools.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience (5-10 years) in software engineering, with a focus on testing automation.
• Proven expertise in Python programming language and automated testing frameworks such as Selenium.
• Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, particularly AWS services for testing automation.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Previous experience in a leadership or mentorship role, guiding and developing junior team members.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a passion for delivering high-quality software products.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Knowledge of DevOps principles and practices.
• Good to have Certifications related to software testing or cloud computing (e.g., ISTQB, AWS Certified Developer).
