Key Qualifications 

• Good knowledge of ITIL framework and ticketing system, JIRA preferred. 
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Shell commands, Red Hat derivatives preferred. 
• Working knowledge of Windows Servers 2012 and higher 
• Experience in server and application log analysis 
• Basic knowledge of SQL commands and Oracle database 
• Good knowledge on monitoring and troubleshooting infrastructure and application level alerts. 
• Ability and willingness to work night and weekends in a 24/7 shift-based operations environment 
• Knowledge of Web applications and multi-tier environment, Apache and Tomcat preferred 
• Basic knowledge of Application Performance Monitoring tools such as AppDynamics and Dynatrace 
• Synthetic monitoring tools like Alertsite knowledge will be a plus 
• Basic knowledge of load balancing and content delivery networks (CDN) 
• Working knowledge of network and system monitoring tools required. Familiarity with Zabbix helpful. 
• Working knowledge of RH Satellite or Spacewalk helpful 
• Strong knowledge on web, network and system basics like protocols, ports, CPU, memory etc. 
• Good attention to detail 
• Good written and oral communications skills 

Responsibilities 

• Monitor application performance across all platform tiers, including hardware, server, application 
• Identify, troubleshoot, analysis, and resolution of platform problems 
• Work with third party partners to ensure availability of connection points and integrations 
• Linux, Windows, and Server patching and maintenance 
• Performance analysis and bottleneck identification
