SOFTWARE ARCHITECT FOR ASSET MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS

 

Your tasks

 

You ensure the uninterrupted operation of our asset management solutions on-premises and in the cloud and are responsible for error analysis, the definition of measures, and the transformation of business requirements into technical IT specifications.

 

In addition, you are responsible for the definition and implementation of system architectures by either

 

the construction of infrastructure components in an IaaS environment (MS Azure, Amazon AWS, Google Cloud) or

 

Concrete technical requirements for the infrastructure support teams (for on-premise installations).

 

Regularly checking the architecture(s) for weaknesses (in terms of security, recoverability, availability), also with the help of service providers, is also part of your area of ​​responsibility, as is the derivation and implementation of corrective measures.

 

You are also responsible for setting up and automating standardized deployment/distribution strategies for the system (CI/CD) and checking the proportionality of cost estimates and development services from external service providers.

You have successfully completed your studies in the field of computer science/technical computer science or comparable training and ideally have professional experience in a similar position.

 

You have already acquired a very good knowledge of the programming languages, ideally PHP and JavaScript, and in the area of ​​front-end web application frameworks (ideally Symfony PHP, Angular, Node.JS).

 

You also understand entity relationship diagrams and are familiar with modern architectural patterns (e.g. microservices, REST APIs).

 

You are able to formulate complex database queries in SQL, are experienced in working with scripts (Powershell, Bash), and ideally have an understanding of modern cloud architectures (e.g. Docker & Kubernetes).
