Software Functional Safety Engineer

 

Your Role & Responsibilities

 

Development of Functional Safety Documentation according to ISO 26262

 

Incorporate Functional Safety into all relevant processes for Software Design

Provide leadership, culture and competence for functional safety

 

Create, foster and sustain a safety culture that supports and encourages the effective achievement of functional safety at project level

 

Develop Software detailed safety requirements

 

Develops Software Safety Analysis (FTA/FMEA/DFA)

 

Support design & Development of algorithms in line with automotive safety standards   

(ISO 26262, MISRA, SOTIF, AUTOSAR)

 

Support in Functional development of Matlab Simulink/Code Generator models in AUTOSAR from the functional safety specification

 

Support design/verification Software team in verification of functional safety implementation

 

Provide safety reviews for Software Architectures

 

Your skills and abilities

 

Diploma / Master degree in engineering,electrical, computer or mechatronics

 

Minimum 3 years experience working in automotive mechatronics Developments

 

Familiarity with Software engineering principles and Software architectures definition

 

Experience in Embedded Software development Automotive preferred

 

Experience with ISO26262 standard and ASPICE developement process

 

ISO26262 L2 certification is considered advantage

 

Knowledge of tools like Polarion, Matlab, APIS IQ-RM, EA is considered advantage

 

Communication skills and experience in quality-designs audits

 

Active speak and write English

 

Team player willing to work in international teams
