About the role:This is a leadership role that entails the following broad responsibilities:
● Creating the pre-sales plan for India across categories, segments, and products
● Developing and executing pre-sales strategy to deliver on the revenue plan
● Evangelize new category
a. Analyze the market potential of new categories, consumers behaviour, path to purchase, and trends
b. Analyze potential usability of current omuni product suite and document product gaps
c. Analyze competition and how they are targeting the category
d. Build business case for the category based on market potential, product gaps, competition analysis
● Establish thought leadership in omnichannel space
a. Engage and validate understanding of category nuances, issues and challenges with industry leaders
b. Stay up-to-date on the new features, journeys, products releases and what is happening in retail and competition
c.
Building High performance teamsIdeal Candidate profile:
● 10+ years of tech/ tech-sales/ pre-sales experience; with at least 2-3 years of handling leadership role in a similar role
● Understanding of SAAS sales is a must
● In-depth understanding of retail is beneficial
● Significant experience in technology sales with the demonstrated aptitude for technology at business and technical level
● Demonstrated operations and organisational skills implementing and driving best practices in multi-office, cross-functional organisations
● Strong organisational, analytical and presentation skills
● Outstanding interpersonal skills, with a proven record of successfully building collaboration
● Strong written and verbal communication skills
● Successful track record of working and influencing matrixes organisations
● Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
