The IT Architect helps define the vision to which the architecture must evolve and determines how this architecture should be applied. (S)He ensures the correct application of this architecture. The IT Architect supports the business in the establishment and production of the various roadmaps and collaborates in the realization of the logical architecture and the corresponding guidelines specific to the applications. The aim is to ensure the coherence of the corporate architecture.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Corporate Architectural Vision and roadmaps
• Architectural principles (standards and guidelines) and involvement in projects
• Tracking market trends and roadmaps
• Representation of the organisation in various working groups and committees

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong experience in solutions related to architecture, 'system design' and integration;
• Passionate about technological innovations and good architectural practices;
• Able to translate technical concepts into understandable messages for all levels of management;
• Easy written and verbal communication with good stakeholder management skills;
• Ability to look beyond immediate technical problems and understand the whole context;
• Experience with third parties (Application and infrastructure services providers);
• Ability to cope effectively with escalations and difficult situations/people under pressure;
• You are bilingual (FR/NL) with a good knowledge of English
