Tasks and qualifications:

Your tasks.

You will ensure the roll out and further development of the Group's current climate strategy and support the achievement of key targets as part of the global sustainability strategy

You actively drive forward central climate measures and projects

You keep an eye on international developments and regulatory requirements in the area of climate management

You are responsible for monitoring the content of internal energy and greenhouse gas reporting and ensure the technical framework (e.g. emission factors) and the quality of information (data analysis, validation, further processing)

You are responsible for providing competent advice to internal and external stakeholders and prepare information based on international frameworks (GHG Protocol, TCFD, CDP, GRI)

You support the development of an internal knowledge database (initiatives catalog, potentials) as well as the further development of KION-wide sustainability management

Your profile

You have successfully completed a degree in sustainability/environmental management, natural sciences or engineering

You bring several years of experience in the climate management environment and have gained practical experience in project management

You have an excellent understanding of key national and international climate change agendas and their implementation

You are characterized by a proactive mindset, promote cross-team and cross-network collaboration, and build excellent relationships

You communicate confidently in German and English in an international environment (additional language skills available if necessary) to effectively manage various stakeholders internally and externally

You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and excel in working independently, in a structured and results-oriented manner
