Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Preparation and timely submission to the tax authorities VAT declarations (including purchases books and sales books), documents for confirmation of the 0% export rate, non-taxable transactions;
- VAT refund from the budget, communication with the tax authorities on respective desk tax audits;
- Preparation and timely submission to the tax authorities profits tax returns, as well as property tax and transport tax, a tax calculation on the amounts of income paid to foreign organizations and withholding taxes, other forms and reports in accordance with tax legislation; maintaining the tax registers;
- Regular communication with the tax authorities on their requests. Provision of the requested information and documents on timely basis;
- Regularly reconciliation of the Company's settlements with the tax authorities and social funds; correction of the respective GL accounts balances where required;
- Maintaining accounts payable for suppliers of marketing and advertising expenses and related group suppliers;
- Contracts review and assessment from the perspective of tax legislation compliance; Communication with the departments on the revealed risks and proposed amendments in the contracts;
- Cooperation with the payroll department to provide timely reporting to the authorities on PIT and social contributions;
Month closing responsibilities:
- Support to Accounting manager in the course of month closing activities, in particular:
- COGS reconciliations;
- Stock in transit reconciliations;
- Settlements reconciliations with the trade goods supplier (Intercompany)
- to ensure that all business operations required to close the period are timely reflected in the accounting system;
- Generate internal documentation in accordance with the internal control policies, which confirms the balances of accounts.

Other irregular responsibilities:
- Preparation of information for the notifications on controlled transactions in accordance with the law on controlled transactions. Ensure the timely provision of notices to the tax authorities;
- Provide information/documents/other support in the course of statutory audits and other external inquiries;
- Support to Accounting manager in the preparation of annual financial statements under RAS (forms and explanations);
- Timely inform the responsible specialists about the changes in payment details for taxes and social security charges;
- Follow the internal control procedure regarding the functions performed, participate in the development, modification and improvement of the accounting department's procedures;
- Support to Accounting Manager on his requests in the framework of professional competences;
Requirements:
- Higher education - economic/ finance
- Min. 4-5 year experience in taxes and accounting
- Computer literacy, SAP knowledge, MS Excel – solid
- Attentiveness, accuracy and punctuality
- Strong inter-personal skills
- Stress-resistance
- English – upper-intermediate level.
