Candidate Profil/Job Description
TASKS
Technical management of the electric motor activities at our HQ and clients
Electromagnetic analysis of engines
Thermal analysis of electric motors
Analysis and validation of constructions with FEA calculations in 2D and 3D
Characterization of machine performance for basic dimensioning and performance estimation using analytical tools
Trade-off studies to determine the motor topology
Participation in the adaptation of tools for engine analysis
Close cooperation with internal development departments, customers and suppliers
Internal and external presentation of the project results
Acquisition support in the field of electric motor development
QUALIFICATION
German and English Language min B2 is a must.
Master's or PhD degree in mechanical engineering, electronics, mechatronics from a renowned university
Experience in the development of electric motors with a focus on electrification / hybridization of cars or commercial vehicles
Experience with motor drive architectures
Experience in an OEM or Tear-1 supplier industry is an asset
Experience in dealing with SPEED, ANSYS and Matlab
Good knowledge of Hyper mesh, ABAQUS and StarCCM + is advantageous
Experience in developing a product from concept to production
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
A good and motivated team player, but also willing to work independently
Output-oriented and ready to take initiative as well as a solution-oriented character
