Our client is looking for Technical Sales Manager North America – CASE - Nanotechnologies – Advanced Materials
The position requires to have a dynamic personality and to be customer oriented with solid Technical and commercial background.
The successful candidate will need to have tenacity to maintain this on a long-term basis with high skills and ability to generate business by creating strong partnerships.
The successful candidate will be expected to have technical understanding of materials technology for the key market sectors, Coating, Adhesives, Sealants and Elastomers (CASE).
The position reports the Sales Director North America / CEO
Main Missions :
- Meet or exceed sales goals.
- Expand the customer base in the territory by engaging potential customers.
- Support local sales channels in sales and marketing activities
- Direct customers through testing process in cooperation with OCSiAl Technical Support Center.
- Introduce new technological solutions developed by OCSial
- Participate in marketing efforts by attending conferences, fairs, trade shows.
- Deeply understand the product and its applications across various sectors.
Core skills & Experience
Critical to the success in this work, the company considers the experience and intellectual flexibility of the candidate.
Education :
A degree in Chemistry, Material Science or Material Engineering.
Experience and Skills :
- Over 5-year experience in sales and promotion of advanced materials or chemicals.
- Exposure to the supply chain for Coating, Adhesives, Sealants and Elastomers. (CASE)
- Excellent communication skills, ability to engage customers at all levels – top management, R&D specialists, small companies, etc.
- Being proactive and self-driven.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of multi-cultural global team.
- Willingness to travel extensively, mostly US, up to 60%
- Residence in Columbus, Ohio is an advantage.
