Job Description
Duties:
- Responsible for local business in close alignment and cooperation with regional management and accountable industry management
- Responsible for Budgeting and Forecasting of sales
- Alignment with competence centers on technical support and marketing activities
- Negotiating and managing sales contracts with customers, supported by internal functions and colleagues of own department
- Evaluating markets and industries for sales opportunities at existing customers; finding new customers. Documentation of market intelligence and competitor activities in the relevant markets (Polyurethanes and Engineering Plastics)
- Co-responsibility for projects in own market area. Responsible for adequate information exchange between involved stakeholders (internal and external)
- Organise Technical Support and Technical Training of customers and contractors together with relevant BASF specialists
- Consult with other BASF units and share market information and trends. Support cross-divisional collaboration and business
Work experience:
- Early Career Professional, either straight from university or maximum 5 years in the market (preferably in petrochemical).

Additional skills:

- Knowledge and understanding in the constitution and negotiation of contracts

- Knowledge in market analyses
- Basic controlling skills is a plus
Education: Bachelor/Master/PhD in chemical engineering or plastics engineering, chemistry is desirable
Language skills:
- Russian - mandatory
- English - mandatory (intermediate and higher)
- Uzbek - mandatory
