Responsibilities
· Collaborate closely with the mobility business segment management and other Service Divisions to capitalize on global synergies.
· Act as a project manager and consultant, overseeing full-scale project organization and management of 1 to 2 simultaneous projects in vehicle assessment, homologation support, connected and autonomous driving, data collection, and ADAS.
· Maintain direct client contact, internally coordinate technical and administrative service provision, and offer problem-solving support during conflicts or technical issues.
· Supervise contract execution, ensure smooth project scheduling, and represent assessment reports or test results to clients while ensuring technical and formal report quality.
· Provide significant input for the development of future services based on your technical expertise and customer interactions.
· Support service/product management, local marketing & sales teams, innovation/R&D departments, and development efforts.
Requirements
· Minimum Bachelor degree in engineering within a technical field (automotive, electrical, or mechanical engineering). MSc preferred.
· Minimum 10 years of experience in automotive consulting/engineering.
· Profound understanding of the Automotive Business Line, particularly in homologation, type approval, automotive testing, and technology's role within the automotive market.
· Strong grasp of project management and planning methods.
· Proven automotive testing experience, including connected and autonomous driving, Proving Ground testing, and Open Road Testing.
· Prior involvement in projects related to driver assistance and/or active safety systems, including emergency braking systems, ACC, Lane Keeping Assist, V2X, and related sensor technology.
· Experience in technical management, consulting, and customer-oriented service communication.
· Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages, especially German, is advantageous.
