About the role:

• Co-ordinate with various stake holders to understand the use cases and functionalities.

• Prepare technical documentation of various features of the products.

• Prepare user guides for the various applications (mobile, browser based etc) supporting the products.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience

• Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements

• Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help, and developer guides

• Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications

• Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities

• Create and maintain the information architecture

• Ability to take existing and potential content and improve it

• Convert complex documentation to easy language for multiple audience

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related disciplines.

• 3-5 years of proven experience in writing technical documentation

• Good domain experience into Networking & Telecom products / Internet services would be highly preferred.

• Solid grip on documentation publishing software such as Zendesk Guide, Camtasia, SnagIt, and other software.

• Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development.

• Understand and explain complex technical concepts.
