Job Description

The Automation Test Lead is a critical role in design and implementation of Test Automation solutions. The person is responsible for analyzing Functional requirements, Review Automation scripts, Develop and Execute test automation suite on DEX agent and report relevant bug with descriptions. This role will work independently and collaboratively with internal, external, onshore, and offshore teams.

Your responsibilities include:

• Minimum 10+ years of hands-on Test Automation tools

• Minimum 3+ years of TOSCA automation testing on Web(SAP Fiori) and SAP GUI

• Strong knowledge of at least one Programming language (preferably Java, VBScript, C#)

• Experience in Test Management tools like Tricentis - qTest, HP ALM ,VERA

• Proficient in writing Automated Test scripts using TOSCA

• Knowledge about Test Strategy and Test Plan

• Ability to troubleshoot for issues.

• Strong Logical and analytical reasoning skills

• Good knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, Web Service testing, Front-End UI automation, Backend Database Testing

• Write documentation for automated processes including test plans, test procedures, and test cases;

• Build test automation frameworks.

• Log and document bugs in the tracking system

• Knowledge of release process, test methodologies

• Good with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, TestNG, or similar)

• Good knowledge and hands-on on framework concepts

• Exposure to other test automation tools (UFT/Selenium)

• Proficient with Rest and SOAP API testing

• Familiar with Builds and Continuous Integration (Jenkins)

• Experience working with source control tools (GIT, TFS, or SVN)

• Designs, builds, and maintains effective test automation solutions which meet requirements and specifications. (Smoke, Functional, Regression, Integration, etc.)

• Ensures that approved changes are integrated into the existing test scripts and additional scripts are added as necessary, updates documentation and maintain versions as needed

• Contribute to version control and integrate changes in pipeline release

• Develop automated test reports for program and produce reports like – Test summary reports , closure reports and testing KPI’s

• Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skill

• The successful candidate will be adaptable, results-focused and can work individually or as part of a team.

What we're looking for:

Required Qualifications

 Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field

 Expertise in any computer programming and scripting languages (C#, Java, JavaScript, Python).

 Experience in Automation Framework Development

 Experienced with any Testing and CI tools (Eclipse, Jenkins, Groovy, Java, Selenium, GIT)

 Identify bugs and quality issues in development or business processes.

 Install applications and databases relevant to automation.

 Collaborate with other business units to understand how automation can improve workflow.

 Gather requirements from clients, customers, or end-users to develop the best automation solutions.
