SYSTEM FUNCTIONAL TEST ENGINEER

Tasks and Activities:

• review and analyze system requirements
• develop and create system functional test case specification acc. to system requirements
• align system function test case specification with internal and external testing teams
• setup system functional test environment incl. tool chains
• ensure meeting system testing process performance requirements (e.g. traceability, consistency) 
• coordinate and support on system functional test execution and problem resolving
• support on creation of test plan for system functional tests

• support on system integration activities and process
• continuous improvements to testing process according to ASPICE and ISO26262

Prefered Skill Set:

• VII or VII / 1 Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering or other relevant technical field
• excellent knowledge in automotive traction drive system functions and applications
• experience in developing test case specification according to system requirements for automotive drive systems (inverter and motor) - experience in executing test cases for automotive drive systems using HIL / dyno
• experience in automotive testing tool chain and protocol (e.g. Vector CANape, CAN XCP, UDS)

• experience in hardware-in-the loop testing using Matlab/Simulink and dSPACE products
• Experience in planning and coordinating system functional testing 
• Good knowledge about requirement management tool (e.g. Polarion,

PTC, Doors)

• Good knowledge about automotive SPICE and Functional Safety according to ISO 26262
• Well structured work style, excellent communication skills, high ability to integrate into interdisciplinary international teams, results orientated, analytical & innovative problem solving skills

Fluent written and spoken English. Desirable knowledge of German.
