Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct network vulnerability scanning and web application security scanning
• Manage infrastructure security using vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus, Tenable.io, Qualys, Rapid7, SAINT, etc.
• Manage application security using application scanners such as Burp Professional, Acunetix, Netsparker, etc.
• Understand vulnerabilities & related security patches of major products from Microsoft, Linux distributions, Adobe, Oracle, etc.
• Build dashboards based on customer requirements
• Troubleshoot issues occurring during vulnerability scans and with the scanners
• Notify and follow-up with administrators to ensure security patches are applied on all the infrastructure devices & applications
• Standardize vulnerability scan and policy compliance scan reporting
• Complete the activities within defined timelines and deliver high quality reports
• Gain in-depth understanding of customer network to provide expert guidance on best practices
• Be proactive in project planning and execution
• Elaborate likelihood, impact and risk of vulnerabilities and exploits
• Provide solution recommendation and documentation
• Identify and infer the business risk posed by the vulnerabilities identified during the scans

Required skills: 

• Experience in infrastructure vulnerability management
• Hands-on experience in using & managing different vulnerability scanning tools
• Familiar with providing remediation guidance along with review of false positive evidence
• Very good understanding of networking and security
• Experience in dealing with customers in multiple geographical locations
• Should be self-motivated and ability to work under minimal supervision
• Excellent in written and verbal communication
• Ability to handle difficult situations and to provide alternative solutions or workarounds
